According to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), employee onboarding is the process by which newly hired employees are introduced to the organization culture, mission, and vision.

We endeavour to cultivate a holistic and exciting onboarding process, which can take anywhere from a few days to weeks and months.

A high-quality onboarding program is a great foundation to building a solid platform for our new employee success and contributing to the overall University success.

What is Onboarding?

Onboarding employees is described as the holistic framework of a new employee.

This framework consists of different phases starting from the recruitment and selection phase up to the phase of functioning optimally in the role and to comprehend the:

  • University Compliance (policies and procedures),

  • Understanding how your role feeds into the overall university vision and mission,

  • The university history, values, and strategy,

  • Meeting different key role-players

  • And to connect with you to check how you are adjusting.

  • Onboarding also includes Induction and will be clarified further.
