This course is on research contracts and is aimed at university staff and students engaged in research.

The course is specifically designed to provide researchers with an introduction to this field of law and its practical application and has no admission or examination requirements. It will include a high-level overview of the process for signing research contracts that are binding on the University.

The course will cover the following:

• Type of contracts
• Understanding key terms and provisions
• Collecting the necessary information
• Contract Review Process
• Understanding your role and responsibility
• Delegations and Authority
